I absolutely love flowers. They have an amazing ability to bring a smile to my face. Ina garden or in a vase – flowers are essential in my life. That is one of the reasons I am so excited to be moving out of the desert and back to the land of green. I am so ready to move to a new area and buy our own home. Once we settle in I will finally get the chance to build a garden and beautiful yard. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. After living for three years in the desert, and four years in the arctic before that, I’m a bit rusty on caring for gardens.
I love to grow flowers but I do not have a naturally green thumb. I have to read a lot, learn from the experts, and be very meticulous about how I can for things. So I am always glad to find resources to help me along the way. I need to look up details in caring plants because otherwise they

It’s funny how some days are horrible and everything is a mess, and then the next day everything is just amazing. When you wake up in the morning you just never know what kind of day you will have. Last week it seemed like nothing could go right. The kids were in a mood, I was super clumsy, everything was going wrong, and I was about to pull my hair out of my head. Then suddenly over the weekend everything turned around. I’ve had three wonderful days in a row. I can’t tell you the last time that happened. And it all began when the Fairy Hobmother gave me a visit.
Last week was all about stress and frustration. Then suddenly the magic of the Fairy Hobmother arrived and everything seemed to turn around. Hubby finally got a few days off of work and we got to have some wonderful family time. Saturday we spent the day at the pool, then BBQing, and finally having a family movie night. I don’t think there was any yelling or fighting all day

Every blog and website owner depends on visitors. Without visitors we are just talking to ourselves. We need people to be able to find us and visit us often. For most of us we depend on search engines to expose us to new visitors. We need those search engines to list us and send people our way. That’s why its imperative that our site show up on page one of the search engines. But where you show up depends on how the search engine ranks your site. This ranking by the search engines can be a deciding factor as to whether a site will succeed or fail. But how do we get search engines to recognize us? And how do we ensure we are optimizing our search-ability?

It’s warming up! The weather is turning beautiful here. I think everyone has officially gotten into the nice Spring weather. We’ve even gone as far as breaking out the swimsuits. The kids are super excited to get out and get in the water. They can’t wait till they can hop in grandma’s spa. But we needed to get the spa up and running before we could get to far into the Spring season.
I don’t know about all of you but the spa here gets seriously beat up during the winter. Between the weather, the leaves, and dirt, the spa looks seriously worse for wear by the end of winter. So it always takes a bit to get it looking good again. This year we found that the spa cover had about as much as it could take. It looked bad! So we went looking for replacement hot tub covers.
In our hunt we discovered these awesome Spa Covers by SpaCap. They are a unique idea that I love. They make a completely different type of spa cover than

It’s Friday! That means it is MegaSwagbucks day! Swagbucks are a great way to get free gift cards to Amazon.com!
Swagbucks.com will be awarding Swagbucks in higher than usual volumes today. If you signed up for Swagbucks and keep forgetting to use it, today would be a good day to jump back in! Also, if you haven’t signed up yet I strongly recommend you do. It’s well worth it.
You earn Swagbucks for web searching, printing coupons, playing games, and even more. Don’t forget to download the Swagbucks toolbar to make your searching easier. Now that my default search in my navigation bar is Swagbucks, I am earning them way quicker than I used to.
Swagbucks is the easiest way I have found to earn Amazon.com gift cards. As I earn the gift cards, I put them in my account and then I have a credit balance for whenever I want to buy something.
Don’t want Amazon Gift Cards? They have a ton of others to choose from, including Starbucks, CVS, Apple, Lands End, Southwest Airlines, Macy’s and more!

I love toys that give kids the chance to use their imagination. That’s one of the reasons I just love Kaskey Kids Sports Figures. Kids love action figures and love sports. Kaskey Kids combines both of these interests to inspire countless hours of creative entertainment that your kids will absolutely love. The Sports figures allow for freedom to explore and create their own games and scenarios.

The Sports Figures come in various versions – hockey guys and NHL hockey guys, football guys and college football guys, baseball guys and soccer guys and girls. They come with enough figurines to field both teams. Each of them also comes with a playing surface and goals (if applicable). They come in a variety of colors and teams.

I got the opportunity to try out the Grey and Black Football Guys. We already have a set of soccer guys so I know my kids would love them. When they saw what was in the box they were thrilled. The three boys immediately set up at the table and placed out the teams. It’s
